These Terms and Conditions regulate the download, access, and use of our mobile applications, including IELTS Vocabulary Flashcards and TOEFL Vocabulary Flashcards (collectively, the "Apps"), available on Google Play (Android) and Apple Store (iOS). Each app provides niche, exam-specific vocabulary curated for IELTS and TOEFL test preparation respectively.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using any of our Apps, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Apps.

2. Description of Service

Our Apps are vocabulary learning tools designed to help users prepare for their respective exams (IELTS or TOEFL). Each app provides exam-specific content:

• Vocabulary lists and learning exercises tailored to each exam
• Definitions and example sentences
• Progress tracking (stored locally on your device)

Important: Our Apps are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to IELTS, TOEFL, ETS, Cambridge Assessment English, or the British Council. All content is created independently for educational purposes.

3. No Account Required

Our Apps do not require registration or account creation. All your learning progress is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your personal data or learning history.

4. Subscription Terms

a. Subscription Options

Our Apps offer:

• Monthly Subscription: Automatically renews every month
• Lifetime Access: One-time payment for unlimited access

b. Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through:

• Apple App Store (for iOS users)
• Google Play Store (for Android users)
• RevenueCat (subscription management)

We do not collect or store your payment information.

c. Auto-Renewal

Monthly subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

d. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription anytime:

• iOS: Go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → [App Name] → Cancel Subscription. Or visit apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions
• Android: Open Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → [App Name] → Cancel Subscription. Or visit play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access until then.

e. Refund Policy

Refunds are handled by Apple and Google according to their respective policies:

• iOS: Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com
• Android: Request a refund through Google Play Store within 48 hours of purchase

5. Content Ownership

All vocabulary, definitions, example sentences, and educational content in our Apps are created by us. This content is our original work and is protected by copyright laws.

If you believe any content infringes on your rights or have objections to any material, please contact us at vocab@testarte.com

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use our Apps only for personal, educational purposes. You may not:

• Copy, redistribute, or resell our content
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the app's functionality

7. Age Requirements

Our Apps are suitable for users of all ages. While each app is designed for specific exam preparation (IELTS or TOEFL), anyone interested in improving their English vocabulary is welcome to use them.

8. Educational Disclaimer

Our Apps are educational tools designed to help with exam preparation. However:

• We do not guarantee specific exam scores or results
• Our content is not official IELTS or TOEFL material
• Success depends on individual effort and other factors beyond our control

Use our Apps as supplementary learning tools alongside official exam preparation materials.

9. Service Availability

We strive to keep our Apps available at all times. However, we may:

• Temporarily suspend the service for maintenance
• Update or modify features
• Discontinue certain features with notice

We are not liable for any interruptions or changes to the service.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or restrict access to our Apps if you violate these Terms. You may stop using any app at any time by uninstalling it.

11. Disclaimers

Our Apps are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Specific learning outcomes or exam results
• Compatibility with all devices

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our Apps and their creators shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, profits, or opportunities
• Exam results or educational outcomes

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you through the Apps. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable international laws and the laws of your jurisdiction. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with local consumer protection laws.
